Please join us this Advent season as we discuss “Faithful: Christmas through the eyes of Joseph” by Adam Hamilton.

Like Joseph, we encounter circumstances that we’d never choose for  ourselves. At times, it can be tempting just to walk away, but Joseph provides us a great example of humbly obeying God even when we don’t understand, faithfully moving forward in the strength that God provides.

This four-week, video-based study will follow Pastor Jim’s Advent sermon series. The class will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday evenings at Grace Place, Nov. 30 through Dec. 21. Books are available for $14, but they are not required. Please sign up in fellowship hall by Nov. 5 and indicate whether you would like to purchase a book for the study.

Dec. 2 is the date for a big Christmas outreach event with Open Table Community Church. Call it an Advent workshop or Christmas VBS, it’s
a Saturday morning devoted to telling the Christmas story to children.

Please invite young friends, neighbors, and family members to make holiday crafts, enjoy yummy snacks, hear the Christmas story, and enjoy lots of music and fun!

Parents can do some shopping while their children enjoy the program, or they can stay and enjoy the fun with their kids.

Watch for signups, and stay tuned for more details as the time gets closer. Talk to Chris Kerr if you want to help with planning.
